At Wine and Food Traveller, every adventure is a celebration of flavor, culture, and connection. What began as a single trip to Italy grew into a lifelong passion for exploring the world through its vineyards, kitchens, and local traditions.
Our journey with Italian culture began in 1999 during an exploration of Sicily following the Rugby World Cup in the UK. This inaugural trip marked our first independently planned adventure and ignited a lasting passion for Italy. Since then, we have extensively explored numerous Italian regions, returning annually to experience diverse locales through carefully curated wine and food tours incorporated into every visit.
Drawing from a well-established network of partners and a deep commitment to Italian culture, we established Wine and Food Traveller to share these distinctive experiences with others who share an appreciation for the Italian lifestyle.
Our partners in Italy personally guide all of our wine and food tours, providing exclusive access to destinations off the typical tourist path. We collaborate closely with the Slow Food movement to promote gastronomic culture, with many of our experiences featuring local members of Slow Food, Slow Wine, and
Slow Cheese.
We specialise in bespoke travel itineraries for couples and small groups, ensuring each itinerary is both personalised and exceptional. Most of our experiences are off the beaten track, generally covering one or two regions and can be combined for those wishing to further indulge in the Italian lifestyle. For culinary enthusiasts, aspiring gourmets, and travellers passionate about Italy (and, occasionally, France, Spain or Portugal), we share our travel experiences as we travel.
